BLUETOOTH GUIDE
Bluetooth device not
showing in Windows.
If a device should show up but does not, the issue may be due to Bluetooth state, driver support, pairing logic, or device advertisement behavior. This checklist helps narrow down the cause.
CHECK 01
Confirm that Bluetooth is enabled and the device is actually in range. Some devices disappear from detection when the radio is off or the accessory is sleeping.
CHECK 02
Look at whether Windows reports the accessory as paired, connected, or just nearby. Different states produce different visibility results.
CHECK 03
Review whether the accessory advertises a compatible profile or service. Some peripherals are present in range but do not expose the same capabilities as a standard pairing target.
CHECK 04
Check if the device is one of the models where battery data is simply unavailable in the current OS. Missing battery information is not the same as a missing device.
