What the Windows build does

The current desktop build lists Bluetooth devices that Windows reports as connected. It also runs a short scan for nearby Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) advertisements. A nearby advertisement is not a connection: scanning does not pair with an accessory or connect to it. Results depend on Windows Bluetooth state, accessory behavior, and whether a device is actively advertising.

Physical-hardware verification of the BLE scan is still pending. The app does not currently provide accessory battery percentages, background monitoring, or low-battery alerts. It does not estimate battery levels or fill missing data with a made-up value. A zero reading would mean a verified empty battery; missing or unsupported data remains unavailable.

Requirements and availability

BatteryPulse is a Windows desktop app. Bluetooth features require a working Bluetooth adapter enabled in Windows. The minimum supported Windows version has not yet been confirmed for publication, so this page does not claim support for a particular Windows release. See the compatibility guide for verified platform and device information.

Public Windows installer and Android download links have not been published. Android Bluetooth listing and scanning are not available in this build. Until an official Windows release link is listed here, there is no public download to install; do not treat a third-party file as an official BatteryPulse release. For current capabilities, read the BatteryPulse features page.

The Windows build stores profile and app data locally. It has no account or registration, backend, cloud service, or telemetry. For details about the current product and its limits, see the frequently asked questions. You can also read about the publisher and product principles on the About BatteryPulse page.
